Metamaterials Dipole Antenna by Using Split Ring Resonators for Rfid Technology

چکیده
The article in hand deals with a new approach regarding the technique of miniaturization and the improvement of antennas done by the incorporation of metamaterials. Such an approach is manifested into two different structures of metamaterial antennas, which are implemented for the radio frequency identification technology in the UHF range. The left-hand metamaterials are presented first by the conventional split ring resonators (SRRs) and second by a new structure proposed of a SRR Toothed. The parameters considered in this work are the resonant frequency, return loss, bandwidth, radiation pattern, gain and the electromagnetic field, and the current delivered by the proposed antenna. All simulation results are done by CST software. VC 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 56:2899– 2903, 2014; View this article online at wileyonlinelibrary.com. A Compact Ultra-Wideband Filter Based on Left Handed Transmission Line by Using Complementary Split Ring Resonators and Series Capacitor
A compact and sharp rejection UWB microstrip bandpass filter is developed using left handed metamaterials. For realizing a backward-wave propagation medium, two split ring resonator (CSRR) in the back substrate side and also one series capacitor etched in the host line, are used to produce a negative effective ε and μ, simultaneously. Moreover, in the proposed structure, two doublets parallel c...

Over the past decade, researchers have shown significant advances in the area of radio frequency identification (RFID) and metamaterials. RFID is being applied to a wide spectrum of industries and metamaterial-based antennas are beginning to perform just as well as existing larger printed antennas. This paper presents two novel metamaterial-based antennas for passive ultra-high frequency (UHF) ...
متن کاملSar Reduction in Human Head from Mobile Phone Radiation Using Single Negative Meta- Materials
In this paper, we use single negative metamaterials to reduce the electromagnetic interaction between the mobile phone and human head. The specific absorption rate (SAR) in the head can be reduced by placing the metamaterials between the antenna and the head. We design the single negative metamaterials from periodic arrangement of split ring resonators (SRRs), spiral resonators (SRs) and open s...
متن کاملElectric and magnetic dipole coupling in near-infrared split-ring metamaterial arrays.
We present experimental observations of strong electric and magnetic interactions between split ring resonators (SRRs) in metamaterials. We fabricated near-infrared planar metamaterials with different inter-SRR spacings along different directions. Our transmission measurements show blueshifts and redshifts of the magnetic resonance, depending on SRR orientation relative to the lattice. The shif...
متن کاملTerahertz metamaterials with semiconductor split-ring resonators for magnetostatic tunability.
We studied a metasurface constituted as a periodic array of semiconductor split-ring resonators. The resonance frequencies of the metasurface excited by normally incident light were found to be continuously tunable in the terahertz regime through an external magnetostatic field of suitable orientation. As such metasurfaces can be assembled into 3D metamaterials, the foregoing conclusion also ap...
